How to Download Stock Data (6 Steps)


Go to your favorite investment research site. Yahoo! Finance and Google Finance are top-rated sites that provide free price quotes. You may also be able to download stock data directly into a spreadsheet from a company's website.
Input the name of the company or the ticker symbol in the Quote Box for a quote. For example, the ticker symbol for General Electric is GE, and you would input GE to get the data.
Click on 'Historical' or 'Historical Prices' in the left-hand pane.
Input the date range you want to study.
Click on the time increment for sorting the data. Options include daily, weekly and monthly price charts.
Click on 'Get Prices' for a list of historical stock prices. In Yahoo! Finance, to download the data to a spreadsheet, scroll to the bottom and click on 'Download to Spreadsheet.' In Google Finance, this is located in the right-hand pane.

How to Buy CCL Stock (5 Steps)


Create a stock trading account with an online broker, such as Zecco or Sharebuilder. Personal data, such as date of birth, social security number and address, are needed to open the account.
Input the routing number and account number for the checking account you want to use to fund the new stock trading account. This will link the checking account to the trading account.
Wait two to four days for two deposits from Zecco to appear in the linked checking account. Confirm the amounts of the deposits in Zecco once they appear in the checking account. This enables the account for funding.
Fund the trading account by transferring in money from the linked checking account to the trading account. It takes two business days for the money to be available for trading.
Click on 'Trading' and then 'Trading Center' in your Zecco account. Enter in the quantity of shares you want to buy, the CCL symbol and click 'Preview Order.' If everything is correct click 'Buy' and the shares of CCL stock will be purchased immediately.

How to Buy Kroger Stock (5 Steps)


Go to your favorite investment research site for a quote. Popular investment research sites include Yahoo! Finance, Google Finance, and MSN Money. While each website has its strengths and weaknesses, stock quotes for Kroger will be the same. The ticker symbol (exchange symbol) is KR. Input KR into the quote box for a current market price for the stock.
Research the stock on the investor relations section of the company's website. This website has contact information and stock price data as well. You can email Kroger's investor relations department at kroger.investors@kroger.com or call at 513-762-4366.
Determine the price at which you would like purchase Kroger stock by looking at the price chart over the past three years. This will help you to track highs and lows in stock prices. The goal is to buy low and sell high.
Determine how many shares you would like to purchase. If you have $5,000 to invest you can divide $5,000 by the current share price for Kroger for the maximum number of shares you can afford.
Place an order with your broker at BNY Mellon. BNY Mellon is the transfer agent and registrar for Kroger stock. You may be able to pay lower commissions if you purchase your Kroger shares through a BNY Mellon account (if you have one). If you do not have an account with BNY Mellon, place an order with your personal broker or through an online broker.
